2009 Scholarships

This year, the AFP Massachusetts Chapter will offer at least 20 scholarships covering 100% of the conference registration fee to the following eligible applicants:
- nonprofit professionals from small shops (as defined below);
- consultants who work primarily with small shops (as defined below).
To be eligible as a “small shop,” a nonprofit must have an overall organizational budget of $5,000,000 or less, with preference to go to those from organizations with total budgets of $3,000,000 or less. Applicants will be required to submit a one-page organizational budget along with their scholarship application.
AFP members and non-members are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to one person per organization.

Email the application along with:
- A brief cover letter;
- A one-page resume/curriculum vitae;
- A one-page organizational budget.
- (For consultants, please attach a one-page organizational budget from a client organization you’ve worked with within the last 12 months.)
IMPORTANT: Write “AFP Scholarship: [Your First Name] [Your Last Name]” (example: AFP Scholarship: John Sample) in subject line of email and send to info@afpmass.org.
Application submission period: Friday, May 15, 2009 to Wednesday, September 30, 2009.
Application Deadline: Extended to Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 5:00 PM (NO EXCEPTIONS)
